about

Dusseldorf Dark-Rock/Dark-Metal band Voodooma are planning to release their firth studio album “Bridges Of Disturbia” in October. As well their new opus shows impressively the different genres in it, which they had to mixed within their dark metal sound structures. The listeners are able to recognize elements of Gothic, Darkwave as well as Electro inside the songs. That well-known tones harmonizes wonderfully with the band’s typical hard- and atmospheric guitar riffs and gives the album an original trademark sound.

Beginning with catchy tunes like “Evolution zero” and “My Religion”, Voodooma are revealing potential hits which are carried by lead singer Micha. The song “Wasted Daylight” is attending by an impressive synth carpet which commands more deepness of course through combining by e-guitars and micha’s vocals.

“Rebirth” emerges as a clubable fast dark-rock song. The melancholic “Pray” shows the band’s emotional side based on dreamy synth sounds and shallowly guitar riffs. A little bit of electro is presenting in “The Devil dancers” which also turns into a real Dark-Rock monster. “One Second Shot” combines Gothic-Metal with the band’s typical heavy and dreamy soundscapes. At the end of the album “Slave Of Light – King Of Dreams” emerges as a pure hymn of more than 6 minutes playtime.
The album’s eleven songs proves the outstanding status of Voodoma in the dark metal scene. The different devices reveals a well-balanced sound structure, which will be delighted by fans as well as newly listeners.
