After their worldwide renowned second longplayer „When Traces End“ Arctic Sunrise once again took to their recording studio to work on their third album. Tracks like „Twilight“, „Tell the Truth“ or the total track „When Traces End“ still have appearances in playlists around the globe. The album as well as the single releases where in the front rows of independent charts such as DAC. Multiple features and interviews in scene magazines such as Orkus and Sonic Seducer followed. Meanwhile Torsten Verlinden and Steve Baltes became known on stage too, where they shared stage with acts like Anne Clarke, or DAF‘s own Robert Goerl. With „Surrender“, the second track to be released as a single, Arctic Sunrise shortens the wait for their third album, again appearing under the label of ECHOZONE. As a special it will appear on vinyl as well as on the usual platforms. Like the predecessor „Stars“, „Surrender“ convinces the listener with it’s dense atmosphere accompanied by energetic beats and the unique voice of Torsten Verlinden at its best in the euphoric chorus. As usual sound engineer and synth wizard Steve Baltes refers to his vintage gear collection and almost wholly rejects the use of software instruments to drive the Arctic Sunrise signature sound (best observed on the first two albums) to new heights. The release will be accompanied by an extensive remix-package by artists like L-iGH-T, Thomas Dark Project and Restriction 9 certain to fill playlists and pack dancefloors around the globe.
